D1Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive at the airport, where our representative greets you and assists with the transfer to your hotel. A welcome drink is served on arrival, and you can relax and freshen up. Later, visit the Mughal Gardens: Chashme Shahi (the Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (the Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (the Abode of Love). In the evening, enjoy a peaceful, romantic one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Return to your houseboat for dinner and the night.
D2Srinagar to Pahalgam
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, enjoying the scenery on the way. The route passes the ancient Avantipura ruins and the famous saffron fields of Pampore, with a short stop at the historic Martand Sun Temple, dedicated to the Sun God. Continue through pine forests and quiet village landscapes to Pahalgam, widely known as the Valley of Shepherds. Spend the next 4 to 5 hours discovering Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, Chandanwari and the Lidder Valley, famous for its green meadows, forests and river. Check in at your hotel for the night.
D3Pahalgam to Gulmarg
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg, a scenic drive of about four hours. On arrival, check in and relax, then head out for local sightseeing. The highlight is the Gulmarg Gondola, described as Asia's highest and longest cable car project, with breathtaking views, and you can enjoy both stages at your own pace. Adventure lovers can try skiing, with professional instructors available for hire, and the ski-lift is another option for skiing or snowboarding from the hilltops. Gulmarg is also home to an 18-hole golf course said to be the highest in the world. Return to the hotel for the night.
D4Gulmarg to Srinagar
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. On arrival, visit the Shankaracharya Temple or the sacred Hazratbal Mosque. Later, explore a nearby handicrafts showroom with traditional Kashmiri products such as jewellery, woven shawls and hand-knotted silk carpets. After the day's sightseeing, check in at your hotel in Srinagar for the night.
D5Srinagar to Sonmarg and back
After breakfast, set out on a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, one of the most scenic drives from Srinagar, with stops at several viewpoints along the way. Sonmarg sits at an altitude of 2,690 m and is known as the Meadow of Gold. You can take a horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow can be seen throughout the year.
